Dr John Harris is a 1993 graduate of WSU and has practiced at DPVC since then. He and his wife
Mary are natively from Colorado but fell in love with eastern Washington since moving to Pullman in 1989. They have raised three children in Deer Park and now are enjoying grandchildren who are also here. Their interests include raising, training and showing reining horses as well as pack trips to the mountains. Dr John's practice interests include small/large animal medicine, surgery, reproduction, and equine lameness.

Dr. Amy grew up in south Spokane and joined the DPVC family after graduating from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Amy, her husband Rod, and son Nathan currently have 2 dogs, 2 horses, and 2 cats. In their spare time they can usually be found at Lake Pend Orielle.
Dr. Amy has enjoyed serving the community as a mixed animal veterinarian with particular practice interests in small animal medicine, surgery and reproduction.

Dr. Justin is a 2019 graduate of Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was born and raised in Moscow, Idaho where he also completed his undergraduate education at the University of Idaho. Dr. Justin and his wife Katie spend a majority of their time away from the clinic with their two Australian Cattle Dogs working at his family cattle ranch in Moscow. When they are not there, you can usually find them in the outdoors camping, hiking, hunting, fishing or riding. Dr. Justin thoroughly loves practicing all aspects of mixed animal medicine with particular interests in small and large animal surgery, reproduction and bovine heard health.

Dr. Jess Work graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, located in the “loveliest village on the plains” in Alabama - War Eagle! After growing up and living on the east coast for most of her life, Dr. Jess and her husband relocated to Washington state in 2012, just after graduation.
Dr. Jess spent the first several years out of school practicing in both mixed animal medicine and small animal emergency medicine before joining the DPVC team in 2020. While she loves the variety of animals and case work seen in mixed animal practice, Dr. Jess particularly enjoys small animal internal medicine and canine reproduction.
Outside of the DPVC, you can usually find Dr. Jess tending her garden, chickens, goats, and two children (usually in that order). She and her husband, Mike, love being a part of the Deer Park community and look forward to seeing you around!

Dr. Cassandra graduated from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, and joined DPVC in 2010. Cassandra is originally from Montana, however has spent a majority of her life in the Spokane area. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University, as well as New Mexico State University with a degree in animal science, and biochemistry. Cassandra, her husband David, son Grant, and daughter Addy have 2 dogs, 2 horses, 2 cats and 5 chickens.
In her spare time, she enjoys everything outdoors!! You can find her spending time with her family, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and riding horses. While she enjoys all aspects of being a mixed animal practitioner, Cassandra has a special interest in exotic animal and pocket pets.

Dr. Dawn grew up right here in Elk, WA, and worked part time as an assistant at Deer Park Veterinary Clinic during school. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Animal Science from WSU in 2004 and completed her DVM from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. After graduation she was fortunate enough to be selected for an internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in Oakdale, CA where she was able to learn from some of the best equine medicine, lameness, surgical and reproductive specialists. After her internship Dr. Dawn moved to Walla Walla, WA where she worked at a mixed animal practice and then ran her own mobile equine veterinary business before finally moving back home. She was thrilled to be able to join the team at Deer Park Veterinary Clinic as an Associate Veterinarian and hasn’t looked back since! Dr. Dawn enjoys the variety of mixed practice but her special interests include Equine Lameness and Dentistry. In her free time Dr. Dawn can be found riding horses, spending time with her family, or enjoying the outdoors hunting, camping, and fishing. She has multiple horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, peacocks and even a few Corriente cows and never lacks in projects to keep her busy!

Dr. Braden graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary
Medicine in 2023. He never ventured far from his home town of Greenacres,
Washington completing his bachelors degree in biology at Whitworth University
before attending WSU. Dr. Braden and his wife Mikaela have 1 dog and in their
free time can be found in the outdoors enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and
spending time on the water in the summer. Dr. Braden looks forward to serving
the Deer Park community in all aspects of mixed animal veterinary medicine with
a special interest in both large and small animal medicine, surgery and
reproduction.

Dr. Keni Harris is a 2023 graduate of WSU CVM. For Keni, Deer Park and Deer Park Veterinary Clinic have always been home. As the daughter of Dr. John, she has worked at DPVC since 2009. Dr. Keni's practice interests include reproduction, equine lameness, small/large animal medicine, and surgery. Outside the clinic, she enjoys raising her son, horses, and cattle. Outside work, you could find her in an arena, river, or mountain.

Dr. Wilson Ashton graduated from WSU's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. He is originally from Nampa, Idaho where he was raised on his family's farm. Dr. Wilson completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho. Dr. Wilson and his wife Julie have two children and enjoy dirt biking, camping, and spending time with family in the outdoors. Dr. Wilson enjoys mixed animal medicine with particular interests in bovine herd health and small and large animal reproduction.
