Amy Mauch, DVM
Dr. Amy grew up in south Spokane and joined the DPVC family after graduating from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University and had originally planned to become a dentist like her father, but ultimately decided to follow her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
Amy, her husband Rod and son Nathan currently have 2 dogs, 2 horses, and 2 cats. In their spare time they can usually be found at Lake Pend Orielle.
Dr. Amy has enjoyed serving the community as a mixed animal veterinarian with particular practice interests in small animal medicine, surgery and reproduction.
Dr. Jess Work graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, located in the “loveliest village on the plains” in Alabama - War Eagle! After growing up and living on the east coast for most of her life, Dr. Jess and her husband relocated to Washington state in 2012, just after graduation.
Dr. Jess spent the first several years out of school practicing in both mixed animal medicine and small animal emergency medicine before joining the DPVC team in 2020. While she loves the variety of animals and case work seen in mixed animal practice, Dr. Jess particularly enjoys small animal internal medicine and canine reproduction.
Outside of the DPVC, you can usually find Dr. Jess tending her garden, chickens, goats, and two children (usually in that order). She and her husband, Mike, love being a part of the Deer Park community and look forward to seeing you around!
Dr. Cassandra graduated from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, and joined DPVC in 2010. Cassandra is originally from Montana, however has spent a majority of her life in the Spokane area. She completed her undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University, as well as New Mexico State University with a degree in animal science, and biochemistry. Cassandra, her husband David, and son Grant have 2 dogs, 2 horses, 2 cats and 5 chickens.
In her spare time, she enjoys everything outdoors!! You can find her spending time with her family, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and riding horses. While she enjoys all aspects of being a mixed animal practitioner, Cassandra has a special interest in exotic animal and pocket pets.
"I love being a part of the Deer Park community as well as being a part of the Deer Park Veterinary family! See you at the clinic!"
